Nestled in the Catskill foothills, our friendly campground is located in a wooded valley near Oneonta, south of Cooperstown, and I-88 in the village of Davenport. We are a pet-friendly campground with a 15-acre lake, spacious campsites, and activities each weekend for all ages.

Rules

Check-In and Check-Out Procedure - Check-in Campsite: 2:00 pm. - Check-out Campsite: 12:00 pm. - Check-in Rental: 3:00 pm. - Check-out Rental: 12:00 pm. - Late check-out $25 fee extends check out to 7:00 pm (as long as the site does not have a check-in coming). - Our policies are set in place for your peace of mind, personal safety and protection of personal property and/or equipment. - Please help us foster a warm, friendly atmosphere for everybody to enjoy the beauty of our facilities and surroundings. - Please read the policies and feel free to alert us if you witness anyone not following the policies so that we may immediately resolve the matter. - We ask that you please abide by these time schedules. - We need time to prepare sites/RVs/cabins for incoming guests. - If you wish to spend the rest of your day here, you can ask in our office, and if we have room in overflow parking ,you may move your camper/car there. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Memberships - Passport America discounts cannot be processed online. - Membership discounts will be applied in person at the time of check-in. Conduct - We are a fun and friendly campground suitable for campers of all ages, with quiet times that are enforced. - No excessive noise from motors, vehicles, radios, electronic devices, animals,or campers is permitted. - Children are to be supervised in bathrooms by a responsible adult. - Public nudity or drunkenness is not permitted. Campfires - Are to be within the confines of the campsite’s fire-ring only and not left unattended. - Please do not leave trash in the fire pit on your departure. Firewood - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued new alerts regarding firewood and open burning. - Untreated firewood may not be transported further than 50 miles from its source. - No untreated firewood may come from out of state. - Firewood brought into the campground should have a certificate of origin. - Further information is available at www.dec.ny.gov or www.nysparks.state.ny.us. Swimming Pool - Opening and Maintenance times are posted. - There is no lifeguard on duty. - New York State law requires there be two adults in pool area for anybody to swim (adult or child). - For a child to swim, they are to be accompanied by a responsible adult. - No diving is permitted, and pool usage is at the camper’s own risk. - The swimming facilities at Crazy Acres Campground are not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. - In place of on-site supervision, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests. - We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool or beachside and that the swimming area is maintained in a sanitary manner. - In the interest of your safety and that of your guests, we require you to follow these rules. - Please read the safety rules located at the entrance and outlined in this brochure. - If you have any questions, we will be happy to discuss them with you. - There is no substitute for adequate supervision. - Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian, or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior. - In an emergency, notify the facility operator and contact help immediately. - A free telephone is provided at this facility. - Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical service are posted. - Only use this facility during posted hours of operation and swim only in the designated bathing area. - Don’t drink alcohol and swim. - Injuries can be prevented, and safety is everyone’s responsibility. - If you notice any problems with the water quality or the absence of safety equipment, please notify the Campground at the Front Desk. - Your safety is important to us. - Have a safe & enjoyable stay. - Only guests of this facility who have read these regulations and signed the Terms & Conditions may use the bathing area. Visitors/Guests - All campers and visitors are required to stop to register and pay any fees when necessary at the Campground Office. - Campers are responsible for the behavior of their guests. - Guests must abide by the same campground rules and policies. Trees - No cutting down or damaging of any trees or shrubbery. - Firewood is sold at the campground store. - Flowers are for all to enjoy. - Fruit is left for the wild animals to consume. Speed Limit - The speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH for all vehicles. Parking - Two vehicles are permitted per site. - Parking is provided for extra vehicles at no additional fee in a separate area by the office. Quiet Hours - From 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. - Holiday Period quiet times are extended by one hour, 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. - Children are to be at the site by 10:00 pm. Alcohol - No person under the legal age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages on campground property. Bicycles - Children under age 14 are required to wear helmets. Fishing - Catch and Release in the Lake. - Charlotte Creek fishing requires a NY State license. - However, any fish caught in the Creek may be kept. Boating - Children under age 14 are required to wear life jackets, available in the store at no cost. - Boat rentals are also available. Pets - We welcome pets into our park and for this reason we provide ‘Tinkle Trails’ and Doo-Doo Drop cans throughout the park as well as a large, open field at the back of the campground, beyond the Nature Trail, for dogs to be let off leash to run as long as they’re controlled and will return on command. - Dogs are to be picked up after. - Throughout the campground, dogs must be on a leash, no longer than 6’, and must be under the control of a responsible adult at all times. - Aggressive, uncontrolled noise and/or threatening behavior from any pets is not permitted. - A valid rabies certificate is to be produced at registration. Eviction - As owners of the campground, we reserve the right, at any time, to evict without refund any camper or guest who does not adhere to these campground rules and policies, or if their behavior is deemed threatening or dangerous to another person.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
